Purpose of Agri Portal
One of the most prominent occupations in the country is related to agriculture. As part of the reformation process, the Government of India created DBT Agri Portal for implementing various Agricultural Schemes to benefit the Indian farmers.
It has been thriving to consolidate scheme MIS with the Central Agri Portal, delivering preferred data across the platform, scrutinizing monthly development reports, and observing significant accomplishments with Bharat Mission Portal’s coordination. The portal presently carries information on 15 schemes and 8.65,66,095 farmers. Agri Portal is managed by the Farmers Welfare wing of the Agriculture Ministry.

Welfare Schemes for Farmers
Direct Cash Transfer:
Under Direct Cash Transfer, the subsidy or incentive is transferred to the beneficiary by Cash through state treasury departments, receiver, or anybody appointed by the Government for this purpose. The Government bears the expense involved in the cash transfer, and no fee is charged from the beneficiary for this service.
Other Transfers:
Other transfers include grants, subsidies provided to Registered Non-Governmental Organizations and Panchayat and Village communities.
